WELLNESS INFORMATION

When Kids Should Stay Home

To ensure the well-being of all our little ones, we kindly request that you keep your child at home if they are experiencing any of the following symptoms:

  1. Fever: A temperature of 100.4°F (38°C) or higher.

  2. Vomiting: Two or more episodes in the past 24 hours.

  3. Diarrhea: Three or more loose stools in a 24-hour period.

  4. Persistent Cough: Especially if accompanied by other cold or flu-like symptoms (e.g., green mucous).

  5. Contagious Illness: If your child has been diagnosed with a contagious illness (e.g., strep throat, pink eye), please keep them home until they are no longer contagious.

When They Can Return

For the well-being of the entire preschool community, we ask that your child be symptom-free for a minimum of 24 hours before returning to school. This means:

  1. Fever-Free: Without the use of fever-reducing medications.

  2. Vomiting and Diarrhea-Free: Your child should not have experienced any vomiting or diarrhea for at least 24 hours.

  3. Improved Symptoms: Other symptoms, such as coughing or runny nose, should be significantly improved.

We appreciate your cooperation in keeping our preschool environment healthy and safe for all children. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us.
